Dr. Umara
Dr. Umara is a graduate of MMED in Radiology from UON and currently is the director of Jamu Imaging Centre Limited and a consultant radiologist with an illustrious career in medicine spanning over 20 years. His love for medicine grew, when his father was hospitalized for a period of time, only, requiring the intervention of diagnostics imaging to help discover his arthritis problem. This changed his father's life and he grew with the passion to help the community in advancing accessibility and affordability in healthcare as well as education related programs.
Felix Obara
Felix is a seasoned senior executive with over 12 years of experience, in Research Policy and advocacy, strategy development, Entrepreneurship, start-ups and entrepreneurial incubation as well as organizational management in the East African Region.
With extensive experience in Research Policy and Entrepreneurship, spanning roles in development and review of proposals for resource mobilization, establishment and strengthening partnerships, development of short- and long-term investment strategies and impact assessments, he has significant wide-ranging exposure into the healthcare sector while taking his Research Expertise to new horizons.
