Scholarships and Education Access
The Jamu Imaging Foundation is supporting a number of individual students across Kenya through scholarships and paying school fees. In addition, it supports, Emmanuel Junior Primary School in Kwale County with several initiatives, including:
- Water Access: Rehabilitating the school's borehole or implementing sustainable water solutions to ensure clean drinking water for students.
- Classroom Renovations: Refurbishing learning spaces to provide a safe and inspiring environment for students.
- Teacher Support: Contributing to teacher salaries, housing, and transportation to boost morale and performance.
- Infrastructure Development: Investing in projects that will expand the school's capacity and benefit future generations.
The foundation organized a charity golf tournament at Nyali Golf Club in 2025 to raise funds for the school's infrastructure development, with over 200 golfers participating. The school faces significant challenges, including:
- Inadequate facilities: Crumbling classrooms, outdated infrastructure, and insufficient sanitation facilities.
- Water scarcity: Students often go without clean drinking water, compromising hygiene and learning conditions.
The Jamu Imaging Foundation aims to address these challenges and create a better learning environment for the students of Emmanuel Junior Primary School.
