Jamu Imaging foundation’s social and economic empowerment projects focus on providing quality healthcare and training to underserved communities. Here are some of our initiatives:
- Healthcare Services: The foundation through partnerships offers a broad range of inpatient and outpatient curative services, including general surgery, medicine, pediatric care, obstetrics, and gynecology. They also have specialty clinics for diabetes, orthopedics, rehabilitation, ophthalmology, TB, and AIDS treatment.
- Community Outreach: Jamu imaging Foundation sends mobile health teams to 12 villages each month, providing healthcare services to remote areas. We also partner with organizations to improve healthcare outcomes, such as the recent partnership with Ukunda Medical Centre to enhance radiology services and training.
- Medical Training: The foundation offers training to radiographers and radiologists to improve reporting in the area of radiology.
- Economic Empowerment
Our Foundation’s strategic plan for 2025-2028 aims to impact a million lives annually in Africa through exemplary healthcare and education, potentially creating economic opportunities for individuals and communities.
- Infrastructure Development: The foundation is expanding its facilities, including laboratories, X-ray rooms, accident and emergency departments, and consultation rooms, to improve healthcare delivery and accessibility.
